Paving & Patios

Indian sandstone, York stone, limestone, slate, granite and circle paving, with drainage designed for Ealing gardens.

Our approach

A new patio starts with the ground beneath it. We excavate to a proper depth, lay a compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base and bedding, and fall the surface so rainwater runs to a drain or soakaway rather than pooling against your house.

We bring free samples of every stone so you can see the colour and texture against your brickwork before you commit, and we agree the layout, jointing and drainage before a single slab goes down.

Every patio is pointed cleanly and finished with attention to the details that show - neat edges, flush manhole covers and levels that meet your lawn and doors without a step.

The material palette

Indian sandstone

Riven or sawn, in buffs, greys and mint - the popular, hard-wearing choice for family gardens.

York stone

Quarried, weathered stone with a timeless look that suits period Ealing properties.

Limestone & slate

Sleeker, contemporary finishes for modern courtyard gardens.

Granite & circle paving

Precision-cut granite and feature circles for a distinctive centrepiece.

Ealing, specifically

Ealing's clay subsoils hold water, so drainage is the part of a patio most often skimped - and most often to blame for slabs that dip and crack. We design the fall and the soakaway for your garden's conditions, not a generic plan.
